Why UK?

1 year Master’s. You save time. You save money (living cost for 1 year vs 2 years).

The “Russell Group” Obsession: Everyone wants Oxford/Cambridge. But for average students, look at “Post-1992” universities. They are modern, practical, and have great industry links. (e.g., Coventry, Nottingham Trent, Oxford Brookes).

The Process

  1. Shortlist 5 Unis: 2 High, 2 Medium, 1 Safe.
  2. Prepare Docs: SOP, LORs, CV, Transcripts.
  3. Apply: Go to the university website. Click “Apply Now.” Upload docs. Submit. It’s free for most.
  4. Wait: You get an offer in 2-4 weeks.
  5. Accept & Pay Deposit: Usually £2000-£3000.
  6. CAS & Visa: Get the CAS letter. Apply for Visa. UK Visa is points-based. If you have the CAS and money, you get the Visa.
