1. Germany: The Holy Grail
Tuition: Zero (mostly). You only pay a semester contribution (€200-€300).
Living Cost: €800-€1000 per month.
Catch: It’s competitive. You need a decent GPA (German Grade 2.5 or better) for public universities. But some accept lower if you have experience.
2. Italy: Scholarships for Everyone
Italy offers “Need-Based Scholarships” (DSU). If your family income is low (which it often is by European standards), you get:
- Free Tuition.
- Free Hostel/Canteen.
- €5000-€7000 cash per year.
It’s the best deal in the world. But the bureaucracy is slow.
3. Poland & Hungary
Very cheap tuition (€3000-€4000 per year). Low living cost. Good entry point to Europe (Schengen Visa). Degrees are recognized, but job market is smaller than Germany.
4. Norway (Now Expensive)
Warning: Norway used to be free, but they started charging fees for non-EU students in 2023. Avoid unless you have a scholarship.
